Franklin Rally aginst family seperation and “zero tolerance”

Well over a hundred people attended a rally  Saturday to protest family separation at the southern border  and the Trump “zero tolerance” policy. Many speakers including  Enrique Gomez from the Jackson County NAACP spoke eloquently about family suffering and chaos created by the Trump admiration. The event organized by Dan Kowal gave citizens of Macon County an opportunity to voice their opposition to the immoral separation of children from their parents and the incarnation of whole families just because they are seeking legal asylum in this country. The message was clear, the only way to stop this extreme policy is to VOTE.
